A young man's journey into the wild
In 1992, young Chris McCandless decided to leave his house and family and move to the Alaskan wilderness, living in an abandoned bus for four months. His adventure ended tragically, and a few years later journalist/writer Jon Krakauer wrote "Into the Wild", which has now been adapted to the cinema and directed by actor-turned-director Sean Penn. In this interview, Krakauer talks about his book and his own adventures when he was in his twenties. You will also find an excerpt of the novel and links to scenes of the movie (Real Audio).
